Holiday Inn Express

The Holiday Inn Express is a city hotel constructed on a very tight site in central Bangkok on Sukhumvit Soi 11. Meinhardt provided specialist lighting design and structural engineering to the project. The 160 key hotel has planned GFA of 8,000 sq.m. and comprises 8 stories and 2 basement levels. The strict planning requirements of the confined site brought with it numerous engineering challenges including limiting the depth of structure to maximize floor to floor height and coordinating the structure with services and interior requirements. The construction cost is expected to be around 280 MB, excluding FF&E.
